I have been here at the Howard Johnson for about a week, and the living room rates are extremely low and affordable. The staff is absolutely lovely and getting nicer every day! ! It's also a great location. A short walk to various shops and restaurants.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, period. The whole hotel smelled of skunk and marijuana. The ice machine smelled of urine as if it had been used a lot. The reception staff were watching TV in the breakfast room instead of monitoring who was entering the hotel. There was a man who looked like he was homeless as he walked down the hotel lobby, then took the elevator back to the lobby. She wore the same outfit Friday night and Saturday morning. The morning employee on February 19 was sleeping in the office. I had to knock on the office door several times to wake him up. When I asked for more towels, I was given pool towels that were small and worn. When I asked for more pillows, I was told that there was only one left, but the hotel was not sold out. There was mold on the ceiling in the hallway, in our room, in the bathroom. The toilet kept getting clogged, we were afraid that it would overflow every time. When I mentioned it to the receptionist, he said ok, he wasn't even interested in solving the problem. I want an immediate refund. We felt unsafe, we were in miserable conditions that smelled terribly. The whole hotel, I mean, the whole hotel needs to be torn down and rebuilt, it's that bad. The beds were like double beds that were not suitable for two adults to sleep.

The check in/out process was easy and smooth. My only complaint is that the alarm clock started going off in an empty room until mine around 6:30am? I called the front desk and was told there was no one to turn it off. Finally someone did after 15 minutes.

My husband and I had a very pleasant stay here! ! ! The manager Tony and other staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We only stayed here for one night as we were here for a family visit. We highly recommend and will be back when we visit our relatives again!

The hotel is always quite clean. However, I believe that they should be renewed immediately. Another plus is that they have food for sale in the lobby. Prices are always reasonable. Some rooms have a microwave and mini fridge, while others do not. The smoking room I had had cigarette burns all over the room, including the bathroom.

When checking in, all the information about my reservation was not clear to the person who made the reservation and did not inform me that we needed breakfast vouchers to get breakfast. Super friendly staff. The facilities were almost closed when we checked in on Saturday night, so I'd say it wasn't the best hotel to stay at on the weekend if you like a restaurant/bar (it closes on Saturday night, after breakfast on Sunday and all day Monday). The room itself was spacious and elegant, a bit dirty (I work as a hotel cleaner so I'm used to it being spotless) and the windows don't open at all.

It was very sweet. The view of the water from our room was beautiful. The room was a great size and very clean. The only regret is that the garage was a little closer, but they offer valet parking. Overall I had a great experience. Oh, and they let me check out early, which was a lifesaver.
